Signs Unveiled for the New Botanical Garden of the Piedmont

CBS 19 – Another big step was taken in the developmental process of the new Botanical Garden of the Piedmont project. Two signs were unveiled Thursday morning marking the exact location of the 8.5-acre garden. It will serve as a place for people to experience nature’s beauty and as an educational resource for the community.

Sign Marks Future Home of Charlottesville’s Botanical Garden

NBC 29 – Central Virginia’s first botanical garden now has signage marking the spot of its future home. The nonprofit in charge of the garden held a ceremony in Charlottesville’s McIntire Park Thursday morning. Eight and a half acres there will soon feature trees, flowers and trails. The plans even include a visitor’s center and pavilion.
