Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Brighter, longer, hotter days are here and to us they mean one thing: more time to spend outdoors! Summer hours mean bright flowers and taking the time to enjoy them.

We have many upcoming programs this season to give everyone outside time.  Create in Nature invites children to practice an art taught by a real artist inspired by a book about gardens or nature. Explore to Read story-walks encourages literacy practice for young students as you enjoy a stroll along the Garden trails. Stream Water Testing gives older students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the qualities of clean water and how it is impacted by the local environment.

Bird, Tree and Butterfly identification walks provide insights into the natural world around us. Keep an eye on our Calendar of Events page for public site tours and other opportunities in the works.

The season is also a great time to get involved. The Garden’s mission to steward the environment can always use a helping hand. Volunteer to help with programs, maintain the site as a Garden Guardian, or simply spread the word about all the Garden has to offer as a Garden Guide.

This free, centrally located, natural space is here to serve the community! Summertime is for outdoor living and we hope to help you enjoy all the season has to offer with options for fun in the sun (and shade), as we grow together.
