The Garden is open daily from dawn to dusk. Even when the gate is closed the Garden is open. Parking is available on Melbourne Road adjacent to the Charlottesville High School Football Field.

The Garden Site is Open!
While we are working to build a Botanical Garden for Central Virginia that is a showcase for the natural landscape and flora of the Piedmont region. The Garden site is open.
The Garden is located in the eastern section of Charlottesville’s McIntire Park on 14.75 acres at the intersection of Melbourne Road and the John W. Warner Parkway.
“Leave only footprints, take only photographs.” The Garden is a low-impact area and there are no trash cans on-site.
Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult approved by the legal guardian.
Furry friends are welcome as long as you remember to clean up after them.
