Pollinator Day at the Garden!

Summer is abuzz with pollinating bees and birds, and the garden is all about pollinator programs! Stop by for:


BioBlitz at the Botanical Garden in partnership with JMRL 10:00am-12:00pm:

Collect pictures of the plants and animals in the Botanical Garden of the Piedmont using the iNaturalist or Seek App to combine your observations with other participants’, and create a snapshot of what’s living in the Botanical Garden.  Registration requested at For ages 8-Adult.

Explore to Read 10:00am-1:00pm

Come explore the garden for the book pages with the secret of “Save the Butterflies” by Bethany Stahl. A self-guided stroll through the garden for literacy, science, and fun! No registration required.


Butterfly Tours 10:30 and 12:30

Stream Testing 1:30-2:30pm

Splash, sample, and practice science in our stream! This practical science analysis will help us find out how the stream’s health is doing through ph levels and more.  For kids ages 10+. Spaces are limited. Sign up by emailing to claim your spot!
