Celebrate the Summer Solstice with Hearth Cville

Join Hearth Cville, Charlottesville’s Wild Church, for a Summer Solstice gathering rooted in connection with the natural world. We invite everyone who experiences spirituality in nature to participate. Whether you are new to outdoor spiritual practice or returning, you are welcome. We will co-create a sacred space together. You can choose to share your voice or stay quiet and still. Our time centers on listening—with and to—the land. We will wander semi-solitarily, pause in silence, and commune with the more-than-human world.
Meet us in the high, flat area beside the parking lot. If a lower gathering spot opens up along the path, we may move together. Please bring a chair, blanket, or anything comfortable for sitting outdoors.
Dress for the weather and wear shoes suited for gentle walking. Pack your own water, tea, or snacks if you’d like. We also welcome offerings—such as a short reading, poem, song, or artwork—to enrich the space.We honor all expressions of being. Whether you prefer to engage deeply with others or simply rest quietly in nature’s presence, you belong. Come exactly as you are, and move through the evening in your own way.
